Tahoe

I went to Tahoe over the weekend. It's been about a year since I last went skiing. As usual, I'm more fond of the trip part of the ski trip (as opposed to the ski part). Anyhow, this time we stayed near Donner Lake. Donner Lake is beautiful, especially at night with the lights of the cabins reflecting off the surface of the water, and the moon casting just enough light on the snow-covered pine trees and mountains in the background. Staying in this area also meant checking out Truckee's cute downtown area. It has a bunch of shops and restaurants. It also has a train station. Apparently some people like to throw snowballs at moving trains.
