Table Mountain

Apparently having a perfectly clear and beautiful day in Cape Town is somewhat rare...or at least when it's clear and not too windy. In any case, we went to Table Mountain today, I think partly because Lyn saw the weather and decided conditions didn't get much better than this. She said usually, there's a flat layer of clouds, known as the Tablecloth, over the mountain. The other surprising thing is that according to one of the signs, the Cape Town area has its own plant kingdom and there is a large variety of plants on Table Mountain. It doesn't actually look too impressive at first glance, but when you look closer, you'll see a lot of the plants are weird looking.

Cape Town is beautiful! And you can see so much of it from the mountain. It's got lots of beautiful bays and coves...We went to a couple of the beaches after leaving the mountain.
