Afrikaans

Today I ended up in two business meetings conducted in Afrikaans. I didn't really mind, but the first meeting lasted a bit long. Luckily, every now and then they would say something like oxygen generator in English. I also started thinking about how I really ought to try out my favorite (and only) Dutch words, like toolbox and cow udder, on some native Afrikaans speaker.
