Shibuya
Apparently one of the most famous intersections in Tokyo is in Shibuya. It's mad! On weekends, it's super crowded. First, more than two streets intersect there. Second, when the pedestrian light is on, it's on for all streets so all the cars wait while people cross the street. As a result, when the cars get to go, the number of people slowly build up until there's a rather large crowd. Then suddenly, when it's time for the pedestrians, what looks like several hundreds of people cross the street in about ten different directions. It's so crazy it makes me laugh. (As a side note, I was told the Starbucks there generates the most money of any Starbucks in the world.)
