Harajuku

Today I went to Harajuku. It's where teenagers dress up and hang out and tourists gather to take pictures of the teenagers. I thought it would be bizarre, and it was, but not quite for the reasons I thought. The tourists outnumbered the kids, and given how despondent the teenagers looked, it was really strange looking to see tourists taking pictures of them. Even weirder was the fact that there seemed to be a political rally right behind the group of outrageously dressed teens and gawking tourists.
