Beer Commercials

I think beer commercials should be banned from TV for stupidity. Like that dumb one for Coors Light when a train or whatever comes roaring into a football stadium. I've seen it twice now watching the Redskins game, and it's enough to keep me from watching any more football all year. Also, can someone tell Heineken to stop airing their commercial about everyone feeling the loss of a case of beers? Who cares about the lost beer, and really, all that broken glass gives me the creeps.

"people all over the world, join hands"... surely you cannot deny such an inspiring, unifying message as that?

my favorite part is when the train passes the cheerleader section and the breeze causes one of the girls' skirts to fly up and she does the whole marilyn monroe seven-year itch thing. gets me everytime.

roughing the palate! roughing the palate!!

there was a beer commercial in holland in the early nineties for, i think, amstel (clearly it wasn't that good a commercial), that showed lots of people walking their dogs through a park. adorable.

yes, i realise you'd hate it. just postin' this to reinforce your "i hate beer commercials" stance.

(and mad propz to mcnugget for knowing "seven year itch" contains the famous subway grate scene.)
