Tokyo Banana
When I was in Tokyo, I saw boxes of Tokyo Bananas being sold in the train stations. They looked yummy, but I was too cheap to buy them, as they cost more than 5 cents. My coworker just got back from a business trip to Japan and brought some back! Okay, yes, I asked for them because I still wondered what they were. It turns out they are like banana flavored Twinkies.

yes, i was particularly bad at that time, but i had just been eating whole meals for 25 cents then!
