Baking With Applesauce
Baking with applesauce as a substitute for oil does not produce tasty baked treats. Well, maybe it can, but it definitely didn't with my muffins. They came out really dense and unpleasant to eat.

try only substituting half of the oil with applesauce. it's still healthier and tasted okay when i did it.
